Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Gary L. McInnis officiating. Visitation 3-5 and 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Kristie was born in Flint, Michigan on August 3, 1973 and was a resident of Flint for 29 years, Albany, Oregon for 2 years and Florence, South Carolina for 6 years. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic School, Kearsley High School and Baker College. On February 7, 1998 she married Jeremy Steelman. Kristie was employed for 12 years as a Radiation Therapist. Surviving are husband, Jeremy Scott Steelman; brother, Todd and wife Jen Glomski of New Prague, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Jodi White and Jenny Steelman; aunt and uncle, Lee and Janice Somers; niece, Annie Glomski; nephews, Kyle and Aaron White; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and wife Deborah Steelman. I am sorry about the shocking death of Kristie. One of her favorite songs was "Linger" by the Cranberries. She would play this at the FOP. You have my deepest sympathies.
