Kristine Anastasio Manning

What a beautiful soul. Anniversaries are so hard and I just want you to know we are all still thinking about her. May you all find comfort in eachother who love her so much.

I was terribly saddened to learn of Kristy's death. She was a wonderful spirit and will certainly be missed on this earth. I was lucky enough to have met her years back when I was in Carrboro and she left such an impression on me as an amazing human being. She adopted a kitten from me who sadly passed at a young age....Lucy would have been waiting for her at the bridge. Michael, she would have been able to say "Lucy, I'm Home!!!" We at the Haw River Assembly are deeply saddened by Kristy's death, and offer our love and sympathy to the Anastasio and Manning families. She was a shining light for all of us, and her work as an environmentalist will be felt locally and globally long beyond her lifetime.
