Loving wife and mother passed away Saturday February 27, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center Cooper after a battle with heart disease; age 50 years. Kristine Tackebury was born on May 19, 1965 in Saginaw, MI to the late Edward and Judy Tackebury.  She was married to Chris Tanner on July 14, 1984 in St. Anthony’s Church in Saginaw; he survives her. Kristine was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. She had a love of nature and the outdoors.


 


Surviving besides her husband Chris are; a daughter, Andrea Tanner of Greenville, SC; 2 brothers, Timothy Tackebury and Thomas Tackebury; 2 sisters, Kelly Furlo and Kerry (Don) Makowski; and many nieces and nephews.


 


Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 3, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St., Frankenmuth, MI. Fr. Robert Byrne will officiate with cremation to follow. Kristine’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and also at church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.

Kristine was very special to me. Even though we haven't seen each other in a while we both knew that we loved each other and had a bond that couldn't be broken.I will miss her greatly. Rest in peace Sweetheart.
