Krystal Lee Higgins

Columbia—Krystal Lee Higgins, 17, died unexpectedly August 8, 2004 in Addison. She was born April 17, 1987 at Stoughton, MA the daughter of Thomas Higgins and Lisa Fredette. Krystal was a loving girl who took deep pride in caring for her sister, Jessica and brother T.J. She was a hard worker and will be remembered by her friends and extended family at the Pleasant River Drive-In and Elmer’s Country Store as a person who enjoyed being at work and one who treated all those around her with a smile and respect. Krystal was a member of the Narraguagus High School graduating Class of 2005 and was looking forward to her senior year and continuing her education. It was her hope to someday work in the legal field. Krystal loved spending time with friends, talking on her cell phone, watching reality TV, and Sponge Bob Square Pants. She loved her car and the sound system that she had in it. She could often be heard listening to Reba and Kenny Chesney long before she was seen. She was a fan of the Red Sox, even when they lost! She was looking forward to seeing a game in September with a close friend. She enjoyed sports and played basketball for the Columbia Falls Braves for 3 years. Krystal overcame much in her life and still enjoyed herself, she will be remembered by her many, many friends as an example of how to live. She is survived by her father, Thomas Higgins, Sr. of Columbia Falls; her mother Lisa Fredette of Brockton, MA; her sister Jessica and brother T.J. of Columbia Falls; her paternal grandparents Robert and Dolores Higgins of Cherryfield: several uncles, aunts and cousins of MA and four step brothers. She is loved and fondly remembered by Stuart, Debbie, Justin, and Tara Skeate; Damon, Janis, Travis, Coby, and Marnie Lesbines; Marla and Kristen Alley, all of whom she lived with. Very Special Friends: Tara Skeate(best friend since 4th grade); Marnie Lesbines, Dawn Therrien, Mitchell Farren, Travis Lesbines, Coby Lesbines, Angela Rackliff, Orianna Bailey, Ricky Fagonde, Randy Urquart Jr, Becca, Leanie and Dave Weaver, Kim and Dale Look and Ab Morris.

A service of remembrance will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 21, 2004 at the Charles F. Lawrence Gymnasium, Narraguagus High School. Friends are invited to bring their special memories to share.
