Krystyna Aniela Kozubal

Krystyna A. Kozubal, 91 years old of Des Plaines, IL passed away at Lutheran General Hospital on July 8, 2025

She was born in Poland on Oct 27, 1933, the daughter of Wladyslaw and Maria Hardek. She was united in marriage to Stanislaw Kozubal, in Poland on Nov 9, 1957.  They both made a life for themselves working hard and in the 1960’s they both decided to move to the United States, pursuing the American Dream. They both became US citizens. On March 20, 1969 they welcomed the birth of their only daughter, Marta Krystyna. Marta was her pride and joy in life. Krystyna retired from Weston Instruments of Chicago, IL in 1997. Krystyna loved many activities over the years: Travel, camping, snow skiing, shopping, cooking, reading books, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed telling stories about her life. She was a great Polish cook and had many dinner parties at her home.  She was a loving and caring friend to all that knew her. She was a proud Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.

Survivors include her Grandson, James P. Loney, Son-in-law, Jimmie Loney and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father & mother; Wladyslaw and Maria Hardek, husband; Stanislaw Kozubal, bother; Kazimierz Hardek, daughter; Marta K. Loney.

Visitation Saturday July 26,2025 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL. from 10 AM until Funeral Service 12:30 PM. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
