Not sure what to say?

Yes, we spent many happy times together - at one another's home while working together at UAB. Parties and fun times always.Wish we had seen one another more in recent years, but with retirement for me it just didn't happen. She was a jewel. LaVergne Parr

To Amol. I am so sorry for what you are going through. You really meant alot to us when you treat my mother, Annie Lee King. We apreciated your straight talk with us. Now I know what you meant by going through something similar yourself.

Kaku: It is hard to believe that you are no longer with us. I am forever grateful for your support, encouragement and advice that you offered me throughout. I know that my family and I will miss you, just like rest of our Bapat family will. You are gone but your memories will stay with us forever.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Julie! I can't belive that you are gone so suddenly. You promised to call me after you get back from Brazil. I waited for your call, which never came!
I wish I coluld be there for your last ceremony, but I know you understand why I couldn't.
I am going to miss you forever, your long talks, your sage advice, your constant encouragement, and above all true frienship and love. I am so lost without you.
You know how important you are to me. Love you always.

I worked with Kumudini at the Heart Evaluation Clinic in Birmingham, AL. We became good friends, and shared time together with LaVergn Parr and Debbie Marlow. On one occasion, she spent three days cooking a special ethnic meal for us. Raju was the light of her life. My daughter Kristin was about Raju's age. I tried just this year to get back in touch with her. I don't know if I had the right telephone number. She was an adorable gift to all!

We are deeply saddened by Julie's untimely departure. Julie was our best friend and will miss her forever. It was our previlage to have a great friend like Julie with whom we could share our personal lives. She will be always in our thoughts and prayers. As we say good bye to Julie, we will also remember the good things we shared and our time together. We will always remember her last visit to us in Charlottesville. We will miss her dearly.
