Not sure what to say?

Dad, coming up on your year aniversary you left us to be in heaven. We miss you and talk about you in one capacity or another everyday.

So the baby you felt kicking in my belly turned out to be a baby girl. Oh how you would love her. Mom wants to change Violet's middle name to Joy. Yes she has given us so much joy in this year of grieving and missing you.

We love you so much. We cherish all our memories we had with you. Love love love love you! I hope you are at...

Hey Dad, I just came across this site. Thought I would say hi. Saw Aiden, Reece and Violet two months ago when they came to visit for Easter. Boy you would have loved their smiles at 5am when they woke me to ride the ponies. We buried you in your uniform and switched my nametag with yours. From one veteran to another thank you for your service to our country. To the man who gave me my first salute many years ago I gave you your last that day. I had the honor of passing the flag that...

Remembering all of you in prayer. May He bless you with love,...

Mr. Bruhn,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in Vietnam. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Aiden and Opi Christmas 2004

Opi...I will cherish the memories of playing with you, mowing the lawn, playing in the tool room, sleeping over with you, reading in your chair with you, coo coo clock, early morning wake up calls and making coffee with you, shaving with you, gardening, taking walks with you and going on errands, practicing my letters and numbers with you, watching me so mommy and Reese could take and nap and so I didn't have to (!) and so much more.

I love you and miss you. I am so lucky to of had...

I love my OPI! He loved(s) me so much....

My Dad was a very special father, friend and man. I feel truly blessed for each and every moment we shared. I am so thankful for the support of our family, friends, and community in this time of transition and transformation for all of us who were touched by his presence.

Reading and hearing the thoughts and reflections of others who knew him continue to affirm how my Dad's love for life, family and community has inspired us to remember what is of True Value in this world.
