Not sure what to say?

Mr Burns was an amazing teacher and one of my favorites. He had such a wonderful knack of getting everyone involved even if they didn't want to. He was a favorite of mine as well as my daughter. He made a huge impact on many kids.

So sorry to hear of his passing, he was one of my favorite teachers growing up. Prayers to his family.

Kurt was one of the truly wonderful people I ran across in my life and so happy to have been able to call him my friend. When we were next door neighbors we had some great times. The mark he left on other lives will forever be cherished and remembered. God Bless my friend and his wife Diane, Stacey & Steve.

Thank you for sharing your memories. Along with being a good friend, and teacher he was a caring husband and father. There was really no limit to what he would do if we needed him. It’s been almost a year. Kurt did a lot of little things for me everyday. He made coffee for me and it was really good. He kept my car clean and full of gas along with any errand I would ask him to do. I met him when I was 14 years old. He’s been a huge part of my life for so many years learning to live...

Such a wonderful man and one of the best teachers ever. My sympathies to the family. I graduated from CP many many years ago and he has always been in my thoughts. You never forget such a great mentor in your life.

Mr. Burns—my 5th grade teacher way back in the day. He was a great example of what a teacher should be! I remember him as a very patient & kind. I’m sorry for your loss of a great man.

Mr. Burns was my teacher many moons ago now. My favorite teacher. Her gave me confidence to just be myself and went above and beyond for me I knew that even then. The year he taught me my brother was in a terrible car accident and had a terrible brain injury and would never be the same. He an another teacher gave me a book for kids that helps kids understand what the brain does and what parts to what to help me unserstand what was happening with my brother. There are few teachers that have...

He was my favorite teacher! Always very friendly. He shared a smile with everyone he saw! Will always be remembered as one of the best at Constock Park Schools!

Kurt was a very special friend. I met Kurt while teaching at Comstock Park Schools. Kurt was always concerned about others. Over a year ago Kurt knew my husband Jim was out of town on a guys weekend. Kurt had heard plenty of times how I hated being alone. He invited me over to bake bread. Diane was busy running errands and he wanted to bake bread to give to friends who had been supportive while he had been ill. We made five loaves of cinnamon bread using a bread machine from 1904. We had a...
