CROUSE – Kurt D., 31, Johnstown, died March 2, 2010, at home. Born March 29, 1978, in Johnstown, son of Douglas W. and Debra A. (Kovacic) Crouse. Survived by parents; paternal grandmother, Delores Saylor, Windber; and sister, Aimee Peterson, and brother, Marc Crouse, both of Johnstown. A 1997 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech and a graduate of Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center. He was an Army veteran stationed in Germany as a specialist combat engineer. A private memorial service will be held at the family's convenience. I served with Kurt in the 54th Engineer Battion in Bamberg, Germany. I wanted to get in touch with Kurt when I found this on-line. My deepest sympathies to Kurts family and friends. Kurt was an outstanding soldier and had many friends in our company and I was fortune enough to have been in the same squad as Kurt for 2 years.
