Cindee and family,

We are deeply sorry for the loss of your eternal companion, father and grandfather. Cindee we have many memories with your family raising our children in the same ward and as neighbors. Kurt was a great example to us all. We are also sorry for not being there for Kurts services but want you to know you were in our thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry to hear of Kurt's passing. I will greatly miss our BYU talks. He always made me laugh. I knew he was a true blue. He was wonderful to work with and I enjoyed the time I worked with him at Dyno Nobel.

It is hard to see those you grew up with struggle and pass on. It was sad to hear about Kurt's illness and passing. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to those left behind. May the spirit of peace bless and comfort you as you struggle with this loss.

Kurt was such a great guy and a good example in every way. We are so saddened by his loss. Cindee, Kelli, Ryan and Chad, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Cindee you have been the greatest example of strength, support and unconditional love I have ever seen. I admire you so much and am so sorry for your loss.

Kurt was a genuinely good, honest, hard-working, and kind man. I have been blessed to know him and the Devries family for many years. I realize there is nothing that can be said that could take away the pain his family must feel, but I hope they know that prayers are being offered on their behalf. Despite their sadness, I hope they feel pride and satisfaction in his great life and the legacy he has left, as well as comfort in the firm knowledge that they will see him again.
