Kurt Daniel Firley, who was larger than life and filled this world with personality and a unique presence, left this world and a void in every life that he touched on October 29, 2011. He was born in Lackawanna, New York on May 8, 1965 to Stephen Firley and the late Ernesta L. Firley. He attended Berkner High School in Richardson. He was employed by the law offices of McKool Smith and after nine years has left a tremendous void. Kurt was known as a "go-to" guy and really enjoyed helping others. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Firley of Plano. He was a proud father and leaves behind his precious daughter, Madison Firley of Plano. He is also survived by his father, Stephen Firley of Richardson, TX; brother, Steve Firley and wife, Rita of Scottsdale, AZ; Kimberly Firley of Dallas, TX; Paola Chernosky of Ft. Worth, TX; Christina Kessler and husband, Heath of Bailey, CO and brother, John Firley and wife, Diana of Garland, TX; numerous nieces and nephews, many relatives and a host of friends and coworkers. A Celebration of Kurt's life will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 7, 2011 at All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas. Family and Friends will be sharing and celebrating Kurt's Legacy at a reception following the service.
