Thinking about Kirk in light of our lost Deputy here in Parker. Kirk was my SWAT team member. Great man.

Just thinking about Kurt for some reason today. Just remembering what a great person he was.

I admired the man.

It is so great to see that people are still posting on here. Well Kurt, it has not been the same without you. As you know, things have changed in my life for the best. Thanks for those talks that I really needed to help me see what was right. I still know that you are watching from above and know what is going on today. I know you would be proud. Keep watching over all of us. I truely miss you so. Keep sending me those little reminders of you. Love ya, miss ya, see ya.

Kurt and I worked together at Harvey County, trained together at DTI. He is the epitome of a good cop. I know he dines in the Halls of Valhalla...Your are missed mi amigo...Vaya Con Dios

I worked at the Emporia PD when Kurt was working in Harvey Co. We brought everyone who was not working to the funeral...still didn't seem like enough. Now I work for Newton and Kurt's name still is brought up regularly and always with good things to say.

Kurt was thinking of you and keep thinking of the Batman pen you always carried. Thanks again for being an inspiration in my career. Still missing you. Rest in peace my fallen brother.
