Not sure what to say?

Dr. Grebe was in my opinion the epitome of what a Dr. Should be. He was a really hard act to follow! No one has yet measured up to his standards. He always spent as much time as it took to address his patients needs. He never rushed through a visit. He accepted everyone for who they were, and truly cared about them. He was one in a billion! I retired from Nursing after 35 years of serving. and never found any Dr. That came close to being anywhere close to the standard that Dr. Grebe set! He...

I am not sure if Dr. Grebe realized his impact on people but I am certain he is receiving his rewards in heaven. Dr. Grebe had a profound impact on my mother, Barbara (Leslie) Blumer. Life hit her pretty hard with some saddnesses but she always found peace and comfort in the kind and thoughtful words of this caring man. Dr. Grebe would take time, a lot of time, to listen and counsel with her and because of his help, mom was able to find joy in life. Today mom is suffering from dementia but...

Dr. Griebe is the very first doctor I saw as a child, and my mother and grandmother ( who both worked as RN's at Mercy Hospital) loved him.

He did wonders for many, and his care and devotion to his patients was appreciated.

To the family of Dr. Grebe: I got the chance to work with Dr. Grebe when he was the assistant medical director for VitalCare hospice of the straits. It was a pleasure to work and learn from him and he will be missed.

Carol and Family, Our deapest sympathies to you all, We have not found a family doctor to compare to Dr. Grebe. In 1956 Dr. Bumstead delivered our first born and told us to go to Dr. Grebe, a new doctor in Bay City. Therefore we believe to have been among the first of his patients, seeing him in Nov or Dec. of 1956. My parents than followed and Dad got his cousins the Clarence Schindler family, who also became good friends with Dr. Grebe. He was always there for us, involved in the birth...

To Carol and the Grebe family, my most heartfelt sympathy, love and prayers to you all. Dr. Grebe was the epitome of what a Dr. should be. He was always so kind, loving, patient, and spiritual in his practice, and we missed him so when he left Bay City, but we were happy for him that he was doing what he loved up north! I have so many funny stories I could tell you about him! Since I was born and raised in Des Moines, we shared a lot of stories about Des Moines, his medical school stories,...

Dr. Grebe was such a wonderful and compassionate man. Growing up I had quite a few times when the need for his doctoring was eminent, from emergency appendectomy to a broken back to the delivery of my first child, he was there. Loved going to see him, alway personable and friendly and put you at ease. So sorry for the loss of this dear man. Peace to the family.

There was never a Doc like Doc Grebe. I searched and never found one to come even close to the great Doctor and man that he was. God Bless all the family during this sad time.
