My condolences to Kurt´s family! I knew Kurt in High School and College and remained friends since then. He was such a smart guy and also a very interesting person. He was always thinking and you never knew what he would do next. Some of my fondest memories were: his golden retriever Angel, living with Kurt and Greg Holst in College, hunting doves with him and Angel, eating frog legs that he caught in Kansas, riding around in his red Scout, talking about wildlife, and just listening to him...
