Your hair designer,

Dear Harder Family,
I was so very saddened by the news of both Eric and Kurt. What a very difficult and painful time all of you have had. I am truly sorry that you must bear this pain. Please know that there are many of us who have had our lives touched by both Eric and Kurt and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Eric and I were friends at WSU and took many classes together. He will be missed. May his children know how wonderful their dad was. While nothing will ever take the pain...

Dear Harder Family, You have all been in my thoughts and prayers this past week. May the wonderful memories of the time you all had together help to ease the pain of this terrible loss. May God grant you all peace and comfort.

To the Harder Family:

I lived in Kahlotus from 1979-1983 while my father worked for the Army Corps of Engineers on LoMo. While Eric was a little older than me in school, I considered him a good friend and excellent compatriot in sports. Kurt was in high school, but I remember him well too and have good memories. The Harder's were an institution in Kahlotus and pillars of the community. I have many fond memories of the brothers. From a fellow firefighter, the loss even increases for...

Dear Harder Family
I was very saddend to hear of the untimely death of Kurt and Eric. No words can ever be enough to express the lives that they both impacted. My thoughts are with the entire family.

To the Harder Family;

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Eric and Kurt. I had the great pleasure of getting to know Eric as a student while I was a teacher in Kahlotus from 1984-1989. He was an outstanding individual and I think back fondly of the great times we had. He was always a caring person, highly motivated, and a pleasure to be around. His legacy will surely pass on through his children, and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May God bring comfort to you...

Dear Harder Family,
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. While I have not been back to Kahlotus in many years I have wonderful memories of Eric from my school years. As I have read the articles and comments from others I see that both Kurt and Eric grew to be exceptional men. It will be a great loss to all who knew them. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Harder Families,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of Kurt and Eric. I went to grade school with Eric during the years my father pastored the Assembly of God church in Kahlotus. I remember Eric as always having a great attitude and a fun spirit. I was deeply saddened to hear of the tragic events last Friday and my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this dark time. May God give you strength and courage and comfort in your time of sorrow.
Steven Turner and family

Dear Harder Family, I extend to you my deepest sympathy during this time of tragedy. I graduated with your son Eric in 1988. I always remember Him as having an affectionate smile and His laughter as being able to light up a room. He will be truly missed by those of us who knew Him and got to spend time with Him. My wife Amy and I extend our thoughts and prayers out to you and your family during this difficult time. May God help give you the strength necessary to make it through each and...
