I went to elementary school with Kurt in the 6th grade at Jones Valley Elementary. We both had blonde hair and were inseparable. The teacher called us "The Bobsy Twins". My family moved near to Seattle, WA in 1968 and that was the last that I saw of Kurt. I did speak with him years later. I wish that I would have had a chance to visit him when I later came back to Huntsville later in 2006.. Hugh Metzler

Kurt and I were classmates at Huntsville High School, 1970 through 1974 at a vibrant time in that secondary educational setting.. sharing interest in drama and art. I worked with Kurt, when it was known as Intergraph Corp. He was always so pleasant and had a smile on his face. He was an extremely intelligent person and well respected.

I had the pleasure of knowing Kurt when I taught at U of Alabama in Huntsville 1977-1984. I hadn't seen him since, but I remember him as one of the nicest people I have known on my life. RIP Kurt
