Although it has been 6 years now, and the time has passed by, the pain of his absence has not diminished.

Kurt was a coworker first, a mentor second, and finally someone whom I was able to call a friend.

He would do anything for someone in need, he would even give the shirt off of his back if you needed it.

To the family and friends of Spc. Kurt E. Krout:
Please accept my remembrance of Kurt on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.
