Family - we had planned to attend the memorial service and are sorry we missed it this evening. Wow! We rend our hearts with you Sue, and the family during this difficult time. We offer our deepest condolences for your loss! Dr. Kuhn´s gracious and generous spirit was contagious. He radiated abundant life, love, and positivity! We will forever remember him. ..our family moved to Waterloo in the mid 1960s....I remember meeting Kurt as a young elementary student and participating in many of the same activities such as swimmming, baseball, scouting....he was a friendly soul and fun to be around....I recall his Eagle Scout ceremony in 1974 along with my brother Jim, Tom Sitz I believe, and one other (possibly Clark Candee)....Kurt was an all around good guy....my warmest and best regards to his family....sincerely, Dan Bartlett Des Moines, Iowa
