Not sure what to say?

A humble man. I commuted with Colonel Lammers to WSU/WPAFB in the late 70's, and never knew a thing about his background. Enjoyable, wish I had known him better.

We have sent to rest, not only a great officer but a true gentleman. Always hold the memories near. Take care of yourselves. Your family will be in my prayers.

I am Rob Freytags daughter. Kurt was such a good friend to dad when he had cancer and when he was dying. Your dad would stop by for a short visit and he was so warm and kind. It has been more than 15 years and I have not forgotten his friendship. My sincerest condolences to your family.

Kurt was a good mentor for me, and was always there for me when I had questions. He was always concerned about the Legion, and was respected by everyone. He will definitly be missed!

Marilyn and the entire family are in our prayers.

Tom Faller, Past 2nd District Commander

My prayers and love are with your family in this sad time ,what a wonderful man was your dad Mike..God bless and be with you all, love and hugs from Tennessee, Lisa Skinner-Escalante and Pete Escalante ✝❤

Lori, so saddened to hear of the loss of your dad. Praying God gives you comfort at this time and going forward. Grief is tough and the crowd restrictions may feel like its that much lonelier. Praying your close friends and family can gather virtually until we can all interact in person again.

Marilyn, Mike, Lori and families....We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Kurt. What a nice, friendly gentleman he was. Always enjoyed when he and Marilyn went on the bus trips from Magellans with us...we always had a lot of laughs for sure...Our deepest sympathy to you all.

The Veterans and staff from Heritage Center send our thoughts and prayers.

The coffee group at Willy's really missed Kurt. Please accept my sympathies.
