Not sure what to say?

So many memories of growing up together on Hillcrest Drive. Lego, HO-gauge race cars, capture the flag, mucking around in the marshlands, Sir Graves Ghastly and the Prisoner on Saturday mornings, Boy Scouts, the 1969 National Jamboree, and on and on. The best of all possible neighbors, then on to good things in adulthood. Congratulations to Kurt for a life well lived, now to be honored and celebrated. Best wishes for all those who've accompanied him throughout. The Gelzer Family...

Farewell Too Soon Bouquet

May wonderful memories of Kurt carry you in this time of grief. Our love and deepest sympathies to the whole family. Ned and Debbi Wyse

I had the pleasure of sitting outside of Kurt's Office at Black & Veatch for many years. The daily interactions that we had always seemed to brighten even the dullest of days. I enjoyed our conversations more than he knew and looked up to Kurt as a friend and Mentor not only at work but in Life. One thing he will always be remembered for is during Michigan-Michigan State Football Rivalry Week, it could be counted on that Kurt would find his way into the Office Paging System to play Hail to...

My thoughts and prayers to the Leutheuser family. I had the honor of working closely with Kurt on a number of projects at Black & Veatch over almost 20 years. Kurt was always a pleasure to work with and was a great role model. His enthusiasm and love for people was always apparent. He had such a great sense of humor and infectious smile and was always a joy to work around regardless of the circumstances. Take comfort in all the great memories you have with him.

My sympathies to the Leutheuser family. Kurt was a wonderful co-worker at B&V. He was one of the most positive and friendly people I have ever met. What I remember also is that Kurt would look you in the face, with a big smile, when you talked with him and show genuine interest in what you were talking about. That is so rare in today's world where people are more interested themselves and take no time to get to know someone else. Kurt kept a positive spirit to the end, and I only hope I act...

Sincere wishes that the love you had and memory of Krt will help you though this time of grief and carry you forward into the days to come. I will always remember Kurt- one of the "cool" older cousins I had. And have fond memories of him water skiing and swimming and having fun as a kid in Hillsdale. The best times!

Bonnie, Fritz, Eric, Barry, Nancy What a loss to everyone who ever knew Kurt. A wonderful person in every way as your words so eloquently say. I send love to each of you. "Aunt" Carolyn
