Not sure what to say?

Rest In Peace, Kurt. Prayers and healing for the family.

Surprised and saddened to learn of Kurt's passing. The strains of Red and White at Hackley Stadium this fall will be missing the notes of a special trombonist. It was nice of Kurt to put up with us drummers, always in his cheerful good humor. Condolences and God's mercies to his entire family and wide circle of friends.

Kindly accept my sympathy and sympathy from the MCC Class of 1985. I was out of town or I would have been at funeral. Terribly sorry.

Words can't express our surprise and our sadness at this tremendous loss.

Our small street is that much dimmer without his lively personality. Your neighbors are always here for you, as you two were always so warm to us.

Dear Cindy and entire Mackey family. Kurt and I met in 7th grade, believe it or not he was quiet and shy around me at first, we quickly became friends. I can't imagine life without Kurt in it. His quick wit, sarcasm, humor, huge smile, kindness, and how he truly loved his family and friends and especially Cindy. To witness the love you two shared was a beautiful thing. Cindy, I personally want to thank you for always being so willing to share Kurt with all of us. I am forever grateful...

Cindy, my deepest sorrow for the loss of Kurt. May you feel the love and comfort of God. Please know that I am here for you!
