Not sure what to say?

Kurt and I grew up together on Billy Ward in Ashburnham. He was my bus buddy in elementary school and we walked the long driveway to my grandmothers house(practicing the bad words we heard on the bus...lol) and then he and his brothers continued on through the path in the woods to their house. As kids we played together. I lost touch with Kurt during high school sometime, but have many fond memories of us as kids. I am very sorry to hear of his passing, and it was wonderful to read about...

Ever since the day i was born, Rick was like a father to me and my brother, and we were like his sons. He always looked out for us and made sure we were always okay. I have thousands of memories about the time we spend together. I remember even when he was diagnosed with cancer, he still did everything he could to see us. I love you daddy, and i always will.

Very sorry about your loss Al. Sounds like he made you very proud, you and your wife did a great job. He served his country well and must be in a better place. Peace

Please know that our sincerest sympathy goes out to all who loved Kurt. We knew him since he was born, but lost touch in his grownup years, except for his dad's annual Labor Day get-togethers. It was a pleasure to know him. Our prayers are with you all.

Thanks for the memories, Kurt! '78 - '79 ORHS
