I just received my Lamberton News and was sorry to read about Kurt.

I have fond memories of your family when you would come to Lamberton.

May God Bless you all.
Robin Anderson

It is with sadness that I read of Kurt's death. He always had a way of brightening your day at Murray. He was such a thinker! Please accept my condolences and I pray God's comfort for you as his family.

I'm so very sad to hear that Kurt has left us. What a wonderful fellow. I'm doubly happy we visited again at our HS reunion about four years ago. I'd not seen Kurt for 25 years but I should not have been surprised he was as bright and funny as ever. My thoughts are with all of you he's left behind. God bless.

Although we never met Kurt, we feel we know him from all the wonderful things shared with us by George and Louise and his parents.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Dear Steinhauser Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Kurt's passing from this world. He was a bright spot in my youth as he was for many others at Murray High. You should be very proud of him and all he accomplished in his short life. When we were young he made the most of anything that came his way and I am sure that carried on in his adult life. Some people just figure out early what life is all about and Kurt was one of those wonderful people. Mom and Dad you raised a great son. I...

Kurt always had a smile and a comment to bring laughter. My sympathy to Myles, Ashley and the the Steinhauser family. We will all miss Kurt but remember him with fondness and joy.

I'm very sorry to hear of Kurt's passing. Tonight I'm remembering trumpet high notes at Murray High and Cub Scout den meetings in the Steinhauser family room. And reconnecting in recent years at Murray class of '74 reunions. Good memories! Kurt had an unmistakeable vibrancy that we'll miss. Heartfelt sympathy to all of the family.

Dear Myles and Ashley, I am very sorry about your loss of your beloved daddy, Kurt. He was very special friend of my mom, Carol and me, too. I used to see him all the time at the old Chuckwagon. He has a wonderful sense of humor and love his laugh. He was such a sweet and nice friend. I am very sad and miss him very much. We all love Kurt and he will not be forgotten. He will be sorely missed by the old Chuckwagon friends. Oh he has a lovely dog, Vinnie and he always bring him some treats...

I will make the obvious correction to my earlier posting. We did graduate in 1974 from Murray, not 1978.

May I take this opportunity to share a story that my Dad loved to tell about Kurt? One night at Miller Pharmacy, Kurt and friends were sitting at the soda fountain and unaware that we were being robbed. I couldn't get to the alarm or phone behind the prescription counter, so I took a quarter from the cash register and called the police from the payphone at the front of the...
