I knew Kurt back in our formative years in Berea, OH and am very sad to see the news. I fondly recall an outstanding guy with an infectious laugh - what a wonderful obituary and testimony to a life well lived. Namaste my old friend.

Kurt was a wonderful man. He and I dated for a couple of years in the early 90s and had we shared some great adventures in that time. He was kind, funny, a great skier, excellent chef, and lover of spontaneous road trips! My heart goes out to his family and it is my hope that your time with him gave you many wonderful memories to remember all the good times. I met Kurt when he became the head chef at Purgatory a long time ago. We became friends immediately. He worked wonders there, but soon left. His Aspen Cafe was also a hit. Then I followed him to Nature's Oasis, where he worked his magic in the kitchen. Such a good man, and friend. You will be missed, my friend. Craig
