Not sure what to say?

Kurt I will miss you always. I was very sad to hear of you passing. Denise and I loved you so much. May God bless you and your family forever. Love you bud.

My friend Kurt and the entire Urch family. All the hockey memories especially driving to Olympia stadium downtown Detroit on Grand River three nights a week and the fun we had. I miss all of you guys, Ron, Brian and Tim, God bless you guys What a great friend and team mate Kurt was to me. Until we meet again.

A bright, shining light ! May you Rest In Peace with many blessings

Wow. Four years. I think of you often and especially when I run the Camaro. The silly kids that we were are a treasured memory that I will never forget. I was looking at some old 8mm films just the other day. Heh. I'll block, you run. You could run like no one I have seen before or since. What a fantastic athlete.

I still and will always miss ya bud. Hockey players share a brotherhood that keeps the memories strong. Give BIG Ron (my 1st Coach) a hug for me.

Even after 4 years, its still hard to believe hes gone. I think of him often. From watching those early hockey games to visiting him up at Art Van. He was always smiling & knew how to make you laugh. I so miss that!!! I will never forget him. RIP my friend.

I just learned of Kurt's homecoming to the Lord. Kurt was an amazing young man while a student at Lowell Jumior High. His athletic abilities - speed, quickness, inner spirit, team leadership, and a fine student-athlete. His greatest qualities included his work ethic, infectious smile, personality, respect for others and family values. The first time I saw Kurt playing floor hockey it was evident that he played ice hockey. He was always helping others develop their skills. Always caring and...

A life long best friend, Kurt reminds me of an old Bob Segar song "Beautiful Loser", some of the lyrics" He's you're oldest and best friend, always willing to be second best. And by that I mean he always would make you feel the better of you two. Weather playing basketball over to Sobey School, or playing pick up hockey in the back yard rink. He was a superb athlete, good at every thing he did. He would win the first game or two, but would ALWAYS let you win the last game or two. Just to let...

Words can never heal the pain of loosing someone so dear. May God give the Urch family strength and peace. Know that we are sharing in your sorrow and lifting you in our prayers. May you feel God's comfort and grace all around you.
