Not sure what to say?

I worked with Kurt at Prints N Things back around 1983 . He was the type of guy you couldn't forget, always upbeat and funny sense of humor. I am very sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to hear about Kurt. We lost touch a few years after high school, but we had some good times back then! Best wishes to his family.

Hearing about Maxwells final night tonight, made me think of Kurt, a coworker in the mid 90s wearing his canary yellow suit, inviting Gail and I to his show at Maxwells.. Always remembered Kurt and actually thought he may be performing tonite..July 31, 2013.. Same age as Kurt and loved his free spirit and soul ..great memories and know that he will be there in Spirit tonite! Rock on Kurt and the Cucumbers!! Wow..hard to digest tonite of all nights.... god Bless wild man! :) MJ from NJ

Was shocked to stumble on Kurt's name in the AT&T obits. Very surprised to not find more from his old friends, his old bands, etc. anywhere on the internet. My deepest sympathy to Erik, to whom Kurt was a devoted brother.

Since November 10th, I still can;t believe Kurst has past away and deeply miss hime very much. I knew Kurt threw my Brother in Law, Bruce Wrobel, and he has been a part of our family. He was a very talented Musician, and I was delighted to have played drums with him with his band the Cucumbers at Maxwells in Hoboken, NJ. My thoughts are also with his Brother Erik, who deeply loved and cared for Kurt .

Kurt, I know your in peace and rocking on with your bass in heaven...

I remember Kurt's intense blue eyes, openness of mind, and kind approach to me, a stranger. Though I met him only briefly he left a lifelong impression. I felt he was a unique person.
