Kyle William Schwarz, 20 of Stockton, IA passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 as the result of an auto accident. Visitation is scheduled for 4 – 8pm Tuesday (11/17) at the Runge Mortuary Davenport. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Wednesday (11/18) at Peace Church of Christ United Bennett, IA. Burial will be in Inland Cemetery Bennett, IA. The family asks that in Kyles honor casual attire be worn. Memorials may be made to the family and online condolences may be shared at www.rungemortuary.com. Kyle was born September 18, 1995 in Davenport to Doug & Brenda (Kelting) Schwarz. He graduated Durant Community High School and was involved in the Wilton Ag Program. Kyle received the Gallon Grad Certificate from the Mississippi Valley Blood Center which was a true testament to his love of giving. Kyle was a bright blue eyed boy. He will be remembered for lighting up a room with his contagious smile and fun sense of humor. Kyle loved people and could melt your heart with his silly grin. It didn't matter if you were young or old he would always have time for you. Kyle worked for the family business, Schwarz Grain & Fence, Inc. He wanted to follow his father's footsteps and be just like his dad and brother Dustin. He had a great work ethic and was never afraid of hard work. He made sure the workday was fun.
Kyle was a member of the Peace Church of Christ United. He recently helped roof the parsonage garage, cleaned the gutters and helped setup for the Annual Turkey Supper. He was always ready to volunteer his time. Kyle is survived by his mother and father Doug and Brenda Schwarz; Big brother Dustin and little sister Madison, who he was always looking out for; Maternal grandparents William and Lois Kelting; Paternal grandparents Sandra Schwarz-Frisch and late grandfather Dale Schwarz; Aunts and Uncles Tiffany (Scott) Walker, Gary (Danette) Kelting, Mark (Emily) Kelting, Todd (Julie) Schwarz and Judi (Bob) Zinsli.
Kyle will be missed by many great friends as they were all family to him.

Doug,
Tina (Toyne) Kress and I were so sorry to learn about Kyle. We had all intensions of coming to the visitation to express our deepest sympathies to all of the family but I was in Iowa City with my doctors and couldn't make it back on time. I had to return on Wednesday and was unable to make it to the funeral as well. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and know we are sending love and strength your way. Take care of one another and hold each other close and may you find strength in the coming days through his memories and knowing he is always with you.

Kyle was my art student in elementary school and we spent a great deal of time talking together. He was wonderful. He had all the personality and sweetness a boy could have. I remember he was fond of his brother and protective of his sister. He often talked of his family and showed love and devotion to his mother. He was a giving person in elementary school. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He had a warm heart and a warm smile. May he continue to shine that warmth on us from Heaven.

I will always remember Kyle as having life by the tail. In school, while he drove numerous people crazy with his mischief, he was never disrespectful or hurtful in his words or actions. Kyle's death has touched me in a number of ways as he graduated with our son, Alex Rouse. Our family grieves for Kyle's family. Kyle's smile was most certainly contagious, and that is what I will remember most about him. He touched the lives of many just by being himself: genuine and unassuming.
