Vensil & Chute Funeral Homes - Newark Obituary

A funeral service celebrating the life of Kyle W. Stewart, 29 of Pataskala will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Cornell Lewis officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia, OH.


Kyle died tragically April 23, 2019, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus surrounded by his family. He was born October 5, 1989, in Columbus. Kyle was a 2008 graduate of Watkins Memorial High School and worked at the Pilot Flying J in Hebron. A loving son, grandson, father and brother, he always thought of others before himself. He will be deeply missed.


Survivors include his parents, Lori Brown of Pataskala, Rex (Tammy) Stewart of Thornville; maternal grandparents, William and Madge Meese of New Philadelphia, paternal grandmother, Beverly Fry of Punta Gorda, FL.; three children, Payton Cheyenne, Emma Leanne and Jocelyn Jean; sisters, Stacey Stewart (Ryan Beers), Jessica Brown (friend Connor Wright); girlfriend, Melissa Dingess; aunt, cousins, step-family including multiple step-siblings and many other friends and family.


Kyle was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Faye Meese; an aunt, Melanie Sims; and paternal grandfather, Robert Stewart, Jr.


Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the Vensil & Chute Funeral Home – Newark Chapel, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
