Kyle Allan Thibodeau, 17, passed away tragically on Thursday November 7, 2019. Kyle was a compassionate, loving and strong-willed young man. If you had to describe Kyle in one word it would be a “leader.” Whether it was hanging out with his friends or his family that he cherished, he would always be the individual that stood out. He would never hesitate to lend a helping hand. Kyle worked hard and would not just complete a task to get it done, he took the time to do them the right way. Kyle worked in both of the family businesses and wanted to own his own business one day. He was a phenomenal son, friend to many, and a best friend and big brother to Jake. He loved hanging out with “the boys”, wrestling, skiing, lacrosse, soccer, and spending time at Cape Cod with his beloved cousins. Kyle was one of a kind and will now be the angel watching over everyone as he would have been in life. Kyle will be missed dearly by his beloved parents Todd and Sue (Salamon) Thibodeau, brother Jacob Thibodeau, his loving dog Toby, maternal grandparents Mitch and Carol (Frodyma) Salamon, paternal grandparents Allan and Gale (Tirrell) Thibodeau, Uncle Mark and Aunt Laura Salamon, cousins Brianna, Nathan, Isabella, Beau, Tessa and Kelly. Ciocci Karen (Salamon) Shouse and Uncle Kurt Shouse as well as extended family and friends. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday, November 13th from 4:00 – 7:00pm. A private funeral will be held Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kyle Thibodeau Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Key Bank, 1063 Riverdale Street, West Springfield, MA 01089, which the family will use to support graduating student athletes.
