Not sure what to say?

Many friends come into our lives but only a few leave with their footprints on ours hearts. Cookie was one of these people.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Cookie´s family. Cookie & Alf were friends of my parents, Midge & Tony Peel. They along with others built the Nipigon Ski Hill. I was fortunate to take lessons with Louise as a child. I was also fortunate to go to Caribou Island with my family and theirs. Cookie sang in the town´s Village Choristers choir, lead by my Mum. She had numerous Alto roles with the musicals performed and the coffee houses. I was fortunate to be included in some of these...

So many wonderful memories. My earliest was Aunty Cookie singing in a band with my dad. The Slaughter House six. Cookies stage name was Diamond Lil. Boy, she knew how to sing!! A few years later, my brother and I went out to Caribou island with Cookie and Alf. Such wonderful memories

Remembering piano playing in Auntie Cookie´s kitchen; visits with plenty of laughter , food and drink ; and Caribou Island. No matter what age I was, Auntie Cookie always had an interest in what my family and myself were up to. She was genuine, no nonsense .. and loving. Sending you all much love

Cookie was an amazing woman. She will be missed by many.

My condolences to Cookie´s family and friends, a life well lived. She was pleasure to work with on the School Board. In memories she will live on...
