Not sure what to say?

I have great memories of a trip that my
dad(Mark Nace) and I made to visit Great-Uncle Melvin
and Great-Aunt Marjorie in Uvalde when I was about five.I'll always remember Melvin's sense of humor.

To the family of L. Melvin Crouch:

It is with great admiration and respect that I offer my condolences on the death of Mr. Crouch. I saw in the Express-News that he was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Greatest Generation. My late father-in-law, Henry Van de Putte Sr., was a Navy pharmacist mate aboard the U.S.S. South Hampton, which saw action in the Pacific, including Iwo Jima. My great uncle Nicolas Estrada was at the Battle of the Bulge and later served as a bailiff at...

Tom and Beverly our prayers and love go with you at this time. All the Ogles

To Linda & Family: May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived. What a wonderful tribute to life he has left. My prayers are with each and every family member.

To the Crouch family - Any time we lose someone precious to us in this earthly life, we feel sorrow and sadness. Your family has exhibited this feeling and yet a rejoicing that Melvin is now HOME. Know that you are in my heart and prayers now and always.

Mr. Crouch was my friend, teacher, and a great boss. I respected him completely both professionally & as a Christian. I am sure the Angels are rejoicing that he is joining them.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of Mr. Crouch. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and we miss him dearly at First State Bank of Uvalde.
