Not sure what to say?

I have known Chuck since teenage days thru tennis. He was an outstanding athlete and a complete gentleman who led a life of integrity, kindness and creative helpfulness on a personal and community basis. The entire DeVoe family owns a reputation of impeccable strength of character and genuineness. There are no words capable of easing the pain of his passing but he will always be remembered for his outstanding qualities and achievements. I am forever honored to be considered a friend of Chuck...

Jodie and Family.......Chuck has been in our hearts and prayers since we heard of his last diagnosis. Seems like I have known you and Chuck forever, then again it seems like yesterday.
Chuck will be missed by all he touched, he is a man that we all felt blessed to know, and to call a friend. Our condolences go out to you and to all of your family.

I have played tennis with and against Chuck for the past 16 years at Eagle Creek in Naples. He was not only a great player but also a fine gentleman. I loved him like an older brother and miss him everytime I step on the court.

I remember lots of good time while at Shortridge high school, my sympathy Jody,

One of the finest athletes in the history of Indiana. My condolences to the family

Chuck in Naples,2004

I met Chuck through the Super Seniors tennis tournaments and had the pleasure of playing him several times in singles. Needless to say I could not beat him. He was a gentleman of the first class during and after the games. I will miss him. Prior to reading about his death I had taken a picture of him playing at Naples, and was going to give it to him. Truly a very likable man.

Chuck will be greatly missed. Bob & Nancy Biglow
