I was Dr. Kimling's Teaching Assistant for Schizophrenia and the Affective Disorders at the New School in 1978 - 1980. She was an amazing person, so gifted yet so humble, and always treated me a colleague, not a graduate student. I still think of her.

Niki--mentor, colleague, friend,
Thank you for championing schizophrenia research, advocating for women's issues, and protecting vulnerable animals. Fond memories of you, Ann Moscato, Hellie Kallmann and others who made the Medical Genetics Department a special place. And, of course, of Carl who was always there to offer support. Condolences to friends and family. Peace to all. Sue Nicol
