i was always so proud of him and happy we had been in touch.

Shocked to hear this news. I just recently met Zane and Suzanne and looked forward to getting to know them better, and now a neighbor informed me of his passing.
I'm sad not only for Suzanne and his family for their loss, but also for what I won't get to experience with an obviously remarkable man.

am sorry for your loss. I got to be friends with Zane through our annual Memorial Day weekend trips. I loved listening to him play guitar also! He was truly a wonderful person! Sending love and prayers.

Zane was my next door neighbor at Rocky Mountain Guitar Camp and one of the first people I met there. I have fond memories of us comparing guitar collections and can still hear the muffled sounds of him practicing at night through those thin YMCA walls. What a great guy... I'm saddened to hear of his sudden passing but also heartened that he seemed to have lived a happy and rewarding life. We all need more good examples like Zane.
