Lowry led by example. He served his state and nation and, indeed, Texas A&M University. He was generous with his time and resources; He and his late wife Peggy were dear friends and left a great family to carry on their family's tradition. Go Speed.

For more years than I wish to recall ,I have provided a service to Peggy and Lowry at their home and ranch. If you ever had a one on one conversation with Lowry one would walk away with the feeling you have just made a friend for life! As a small business owner he was always a mentor and a role model ! My conversations with Lowry will truly be missed and valued . God bless
