Alvin and Gail were close friends of mine in jr. (Greiner) and senior highSunset). I was actually the one who got them together. Gail liked me, I was involved with another girl. Gail and I bowled many times together. So I introduced her to Alvin who played the clarinet. I played trumpet. I thought they would hit it off. And they did. I have fond memories of both of them. Alvin was so smart and I really liked them both. Sorry to hear of his passing. In sympathy, Roger Lawhon
