Obituary

TIMBERLAKE, L. Earl Sr., 88, of Highland Springs, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 13, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Lucille Wright; daughter, Patricia Neiger (Tom); two sons, Bubba (Evelyn), and Glenn (Mary Lou); five grandchildren, David Harmon (Kim), Debbie Harmon, Gina Christian (Michael), Jill Wright (Nathan) and Louis Rhea Timberlake; 10 great-grandchildren, Carly, Emily, Tatum, Nicole, Tyler, Alyssa, Bryson, Julianna, Josephina and Ivy. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a retired auto mechanic after many years of service. He attended H.S. Church of the Nazarene, and was a member of the Sandston Moose Lodge # 1937. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, hunting, and gardening. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, and where services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bon Secours Hospice, 5875 Bremo Road, Suite 710, Richmond, 23226, or to the H.S. Church of the Nazarene, 6003 Hawkes Lane, Richmond, 23223.
