Not sure what to say?

I just found out Lace is gone. I loved and admired her and wished I had spent more time with her and Walter. What marvelous people they were. Their lives were truly a gift to us all.

My Mom and I attended many Kitterman reunions and Lace was one of the people we always looked forward to seeing. Lots of fun, laughter, good conversation, and fellowship. She will be missed by many people. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Ann, Tony , and Family-
Sorry to hear about Lace's passing . You can take comfort in knowing you did all you could do for her. You both went above and beyond the call of duty in taking care of her. God bless you both!

To Ann & Family,

So sad to hear of Lace's passing. What a beautiful woman she was. Our hearts and prayers are with the whole family.

Such fond memories of a gracious, beautiful woman who was my English teacher at Dan McCarty High School. She and Margaret Davidson provided the incentive for my majoring in English at FSU and becoming a classroom teacher in St. Lucie County for 52 years. I saw her many times over the years, and she was always so warm and friendly to everyone who knew her. Her smile will be forever remembered.
My sincere condolences to the family of which she was so proud.

to Ann and the entire family,
please accept my sympathies for the passing of your mother. the description of her life in the obit reads like a travel novel, and you were all along for the wonderful ride.

Dear Miss Lacey --- I was so terribly sad to read in today's TCPalm (better known to me as the Tribune!!!!!) of your passing. It has been so many years since I graduated from Dan McCarty High School where I have such wonderful memories of you as my English teacher! I'm sure you are partly responsible for my getting my degree in English Education from FSU. You were such a great teacher and then became such a great friend. I know you were also responsible for my getting hired at The Tribune...
