Lacey Lynn Broussard Clark, surrounded by her loving family, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the age of 36. Lacey was the cherished daughter of Toni Gioe Clark and Kerwin 'BooBoo' Clark; beloved sister of Samara Clark; adored granddaughter of Noelle Degelos Gioe and the late Lucien Gioe, and Presley Clark and the late Shirley Clark; niece of Gina Hernandez (Jimmy), Jeanne LeBlanc (Ricky), Terry Clark (Debbie), Donna Trahan (Lynn), and Traci Boudreaux (Pat); aunt of Jonathan Ludwig and Madison Lasseigne; and cousin of Jamie LeBlanc (Tommy), Kerry (Brandy), Jamie, Kimberly, and Lauren (Christofer). She was preceded in death by her father, the late Kelly Broussard, Jr.; and by her twin sister, the late Kristy Lynn. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and dear friends. Lacey Lynn was one of God's most precious and miraculous children. As soon as you met her, you knew she was special. She always had a smile on her face – always grinning ear to ear. That smile was known far and wide and could change the atmosphere of any room. Her smile and laugh made YOU smile and laugh – people couldn't help but smile around her. For someone who lived her entire life overcoming tremendous obstacles, she was always HAPPY & SMILING. For someone who lived her whole life being non-verbal, she spoke volumes! She always got her point across and let you know exactly what she wanted, many times with just the point of her finger. She lived nearly 37 years without needing a drink to make her joyful, or a pill to ease her pain - she just smiled through it all – high on life, and happy to be alive. Lacey loved Disney – especially Minnie Mouse – travelling, being "The Boss," and riding horses. But, she was always happiest when surrounded by the people she loved. Although she is gone from this earth, and will be eternally missed by all those lucky enough to have known her, her family takes comfort in the knowledge that Lacey and her beloved horse, Dolly, are now running barrels wide open on the streets of Heaven. The family extends a heartfelt debt of gratitude to Dr. Kelvin Contreary and Dr. Christos Theodossiou for their support and unwavering dedication to Lacey's health over the years, and to Anvoi Palliative & Hospice Care for their skill, compassion, and love during her last days. Relatives, friends, and all those whose lives Lacey touched, are invited to celebrate her life on Monday, July 18, 2022, at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Lacey will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. Fond memories and words of condolence can be left for the Clark and Gioe families at
