FAYETTEVILLE - Miss Lacie Marie Martinez, 20, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013. She was born Jan. 12, 1993, in Yuma, Ariz., and was a 2011 graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills. Lacie was a very loving and caring person who never met a stranger. No matter what the need was, she was always the first person there to lend a helping hand. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met and she will be truly missed by her family and everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her granny, Colleen J. Martinez. Funeral services will be at 6p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Jamie Lueter officiating. She is survived by her father, Richard Martinez and wife Cindy of Fayetteville; mothers, Shelly Martinez of Fayetteville and Ronda Perkins of Yuma; brothers, Joseph Martinez, Travis Martinez and Connor Blask, all of Fayetteville; sisters, Kayla Martinez, Alexis Martinez, both of Fayetteville, and Jasmine Perkins of Yuma; stepbrother, Anthony Spatorico of Fayetteville; stepsisters, Amanda Spatorico and Meghan Spatorico, both of Fayetteville; and grandparents in Fayetteville, Stafford, Va., and Yuma. She also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the funeral home. We went to school together. We were always in the same Academically Gifted and Advanced placement classes. You were funny, smart, sweet, honest, beautiful. You were a friend. I just happened to think of you today. You were taken entirely too soon. Rest in Peace ♥
