I didn't know Laddie that well but well enough to know he was a gentleman of great intellect and wit. His talent on the tennis court and in the court of law is well documented. I had great respect for him and his lovely wife Dorothy. My condolences to her and their family.

Laddie was a true gentleman in every facet of his life = as a loving husband, father and grandfather, in the practice of law and as an excellent tennis player. He was also a warm and reliable friend who I have known since he was 5 years old when we both lived in the 2nd ward. He will be greatly missed.
