Not sure what to say?

I offer prayers for peace and comfort to all family, friends and colleagues. I am grateful for LaDonna Allard's life and activism. We have lost her presence on earth but her wisdom, experience, knowledge, dedication and compassion is a gift that will last forever.

I met LaDonna briefly when I traveled from NC to stand with the people against the pipeline in Sept of 2016. My condolences to family and friends, and to all who feel the loss of her physical presence.

LaDonna was a great teacher and I appreciate all she taught me while we walked around Fort Yates. Her lessons were invaluable, and I have shared them with others. Her work will continue because of all that she taught to so many people. I wish you many blessings on the other side, LaDonna.

I was saddened to hear that my friend has left this realm We first met in our efforts to protect the Killdeer Mountains and the sacred sites from the power line. We were honored to show her and Miles some cultural sites and our home. She welcomed me and my son to her "Prayer Camp". She and Miles showed the way to be fierce Peaceful Warriors. Their work goes on and they are now together on the other side.

My condolences to the family and friends of LaDonna. Fly high with the ancestors! A´HO! (Mvskoke Deer Clan)

Sending heartfelt condolences to family and community at this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ladonna you have been a loving, caring, inspiring Kwe. You will be missed in this world, and welcomed home in the spirit world. Peace be with you.

My condolences to family and everyone who knew her. She walks with her ancestors now . Fly high!

My deepest condolences for your loss of this amazing woman and warrior. It is the world's loss. I didn't know her personally, but she inspired a world of activism. The closest I came to meeting her was watching her unload a truck full of donated supplies 15 feet away from me at the main camp, where I was helping out at the GI tent. When I first got there, one of the first things I was told after I asked how do I find out what I can do to help was "If you stay long enough, talk to...

Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to LaDonna Allard's family, friends and all those who's lives she touched. May your legacy live on in the way you intended. You were strong and courageous! All that you stood for was and is blessed and sacred. It will carry on. Rest in eternal peace. Aho Alison Bressette (Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, Ontario)
