What a remarkable woman! I will never forget the discussions she and I had both in the Poetry Club meetings and in private in her apartment at Brighton Gardens. I was very fortunate to have known her and my mind, my outlook, and my understanding are much more alert and developed thanks to her words of wisdom. Lael, you were one-of-a-kind! Our loss is Heaven's gain!

Condolences to the family at the passing of Lael. I had the opportunity to meet Lael at Brighton Gardens when my mother Josephene moved there three years ago (recently deceased). Lael enjoyed the Sunday sundaes and had a reserved seat for bingo on Thrusday. She is now free from the body that had been failing her. God bless.

I remember Aunt Lael as a very unique lady. I aways picture her in my mind wearing her hair wrapped in a beautiful scraff. May God comfort her children, grandchildren & other family members during this time of sorrow.
