Read MoreLaFonda is my sister and she will be truly missed by me. God knows I loved her more than probably anyone else in my family. She was kind, sweet, and very humble. She was the type of person who always kept her cool and did not have a mean bone in her body. Fonda was not only my big sister, she was my only sibling and my very best friend. I find comfort in knowing that we will indeed meet again in Heaven.

I met LaFonda in elementary school and we were very good friends from the 3rd grade until we graduated high school. LaFonda and I kept in touch for a while before we went our separate ways for college. LaFonda was one of the nicest people that you would ever want to meet. She had a very kind heart, sweet, quiet yet silly at times. To say that she will be missed doesn't say it all. I just wish that we could've kept in touch more. LaFonda, girl we love you and will miss you terribly.

I worked at Walmart with Lafonda about 2 years ago. I didn't really know her, but from her reactions I sensed that she had a very good, kind heart. She never met a stranger. She was truly a blessed young lady. There isn't much I can say to you except my prayers are with you all at this time. Remember that god dosen't make mistakes. You will truly meet her again in time.
