Not sure what to say?

Richard & Pete; I only learned today of your loss. Your mother was a large part of my life as I was growing up. She was a neighbor and the mother of my friends. I offer my condolences for your loss.

Mrs. Perry was my teacher for an introduction to art class at Delta State in the late 70's. I didn't know her well, but was impressed that she could take all of us no-talents in the class and show us how we could create art. I still have a couple of my works from that class. And I still enjoy creating art from time to time. Thank you, Mrs. Perry.

To her family, my prayers go up on your behalf. I know the pain of losing someone you love so deeply.

Lallah gave me my first professional award in a show she juried on the coast. I still have her critque and those words will forever ring in my ear. I painted next to her an in awe at MS Art Colony for several years. She was a huge inspiration and I will miss her presence.

I was so sorry to hear that Lallah had died. She was a really nice, very talented lady. Lallah was very kind to me when I started teaching at MCC 20 years ago.

It sadens me to loose such a great artist and teacher. Lallah was one of the most interesting and talented people I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends of Lallah Perry. We knew her when she taught here at Meridian Community College. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

I was so sorry to hear of Lallah's passing. I will remember her as a passionate artist, a talented teacher and a loyal friend. I always enjoyed her dry sense of humor. My husband and I spent may pleasant evenings cooking, talking and drinking a little wine at her house on Poplar Springs Drive. She was a very unique person and will surely be missed. My thoughts are with her family.

I remember many controversial, enlightening, and humorous moments sharing lunch conversation with Lallah at Meridian Community College.

We are sad to hear of Lallah's passing. We have many fond memories of spending time with her. Lisa studied painting with her. God bless the family.
