Marty was my dear close friend fir 53 years, practically all of our life. We grew up together, bothe joined the military and served honorably together, he a Sailor, me a Marine. We moved to Texas together and began a great working career together. I was his best man at his wedding, I was there with him and his wife Janie for the birth of their first child, ,, he was a great friend. I am marty's former wife and he the father of both my girls Cherie and Christie Buskirk. Marty and I parted ways in 1991. When I found out about him being on life support and the end near, I never realized just how much it would affect me. Something broke inside. I won't know till I get there but I pray marty is in heaven with his family to rejoice with his homecoming.
