Not sure what to say?

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dr. Peacock. He and my father (G.M. Pattillo) were friends and fellow physicians and my father referred all of his patients with allergy problems, including me, to Dr. Peacock for treatment. Later, when Dad moved to Texas, they would still correspond by telephone and letters both professionally and as friends. Dad always would call him by the nickname "Strut". After Dad's passing, Dr. Peacock sent a warm sympathy...

I was a patient of Dr. Leonardy, 25 years ago when dianosed with post polio. Dr. Leonardy used Dr. Peacock as an inspiration to me. I never knew him personally, just from a distance but his determation gave me encouragement. Please accept my respect and sympathy.

I was very sad to read about your Dad, Lamar.I didn't know him but I am sure he will be greatly missed by you and all of your family and friends. Please accepy my deepest sympathies and prayers for you and yours. Archie

Dr. Peacock was a great and dignified man who touched the lives of many. We offer our deepest condolences to his family, especially Jane and Lamar, and the many people who had the good fortune to know him.
"The last voyage, the longest, the best." -Thomas Wolfe

I am sorry for your loss. I am a churchmember with Lamar and Amanda. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Dr. Peacock was our guardian angel from 1960 until he retired. We have our health thanks to him.

Dear Jane & Family,

Elizabeth & I were greatly saddened to read of the death Of "Strut". As you know, our connection with him goes back to the days @ Emory & SAE.

"Strut" was a truly great person in so many ways - - the way he overcame the disability due to polio was a really remarkable event. He was a hero in the truest sense of the word.

We pray for God to bless each of you & surround you with His love,

Elizabeth & Henry Jennings
