Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to find out that your dad had passed away. My mom and dad (Vic and Donna Johnson - Donna Urbanek now) spent a lot of time playing cards with your mom and dad. I always came with them and Randy and I would stay up and watch "scary movies" together. He would stop by our house for coffee and he always had a big smile that I will never forget. He was one of the nicest people I knew. I'm so sorry that I was not able to come to the funeral. please know that I will always...

I Have these great memories of Uncle Smitty at Bear Lake and ya he would try to act all tough but then he would grin and wink at you. I also
have always had this crazy memory and I told my family this before, but
I thought the Mr Clean Man lived in a closet in their house. Maybe It was
Smitty messing with me when I was young. Peggy (Astill) Andra

I was always "Squirt" to Uncle Smitty. I have countless memories of our time together at Bear Lake, Yellowstone, and the annual deer hunt. All of these memories are dear to my heart because I knew that he loved me and my family. The tough exterior was a pretty thin veneer over a gigantic heart who was always willing to give and share all that he had. I love you Uncle Smitty.

Uncle Smitty was the best, always acted tough but was just a teddy bear underneath. Always made our time with him fun.
