Yesterday I learned of the passing of Uncle Herk, and my family and I want to express our deepest sympathies to the family. I have many wonderful memories of him being my Uncle. Coming to our house, visiting with us all. He is now with the Aunt Ruth and they are smiling down on you all..so proud of their families. I am so sorry for your loss. We know he will be deeply missed. With much love to you all.

I was very sadness by the email I received this afternoon of the passing of Uncle Herk. I have very fond memories of Uncle Herk when we used to visit PA and when your parents would come to MD and visit. He was a very loveable person and I know he will be missed by all of his family. I'm very sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Herk. He was a honest and hard working guy who was always friendly to me. I have very fond remembrances of being at his house on New Year's eve parties many years ago. I often think about him and the his family at the top of the "steps". I will miss him and I want to give my condolences to his immediate family. Take care knowing that Uncle Herk will never be forgotten.
