To Dr. DePompei's Whole Family: I knew Lambert as a nursing student at St. John's Hospital and worked with him in the delivery room, learning much from him in the art of OB/GYN care. He later delivered all of my six children. He was kind to all who knew him. We need more people like him in this world. What an example he was for all of us as he weathered the storms in life. Dr. DePompei delivered all three of my children. I respected his dedication and his judgement. It was good to know he lived a long life and was surrounded by a large and loving family. My sympathy goes out to each of you during this sad time.
